Leah Lane is a Tony Award-nominated Broadway producer who is currently represented on the West End with the new musical Burlesque. Previous Broadway credits include Glengarry Glen Ross, The Minutes, and The Lightning Thief. She co-produced the regional production of Back Home Again at The Lesher Center for the Arts.
In film, Lane serves as an associate producer of the Godspell documentary, "You Had To Be There," which will have its premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. Lane is the executive producer of director Kelly O’Sullivan’s third feature film, Mouse, which wrapped up shooting in Arkansas and Illinois. She is an alumna of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts and The Broadway League’s Commercial Theater Institute, and she served on the Board of ChaShaMa from 2018 to 2025. Beyond producing, Leah is a multidisciplinary artist. She has been a frequent performer at Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center and was a speaker at the inaugural BroadwayCon, discussing non-traditional and immersive theater. She originated the role of The Stoner in Carmen High at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a visual artist, her photography and mixed-media collages have been exhibited in multiple shows, including the 2017 Guild Hall Clothesline Art Sale, Redwood Art Group’s Artexpo New York, SAAC’s Annual Juried Art Exhibit, BROUHAHAART’s Women (only) Exhibition, Pile Press’ Summer 2022 Issue, The Holy Art Gallery’s Artbase Exhibition, NYC ArtWalk, and Las Laguna’s Art Gallery’s Women In Art Exhibition.
Leah is also an accomplished writer. Her children’s book, This Never Happens in the City, was a successful fundraiser for The CDCH, and she wrote the book for the musical Moey’s Fairy Tale Adventure, which had a sold-out run at The Dix Hills Performing Arts Center in 2013. As a child performer, Leah was honored to sing in the Children’s Chorus at The Metropolitan Opera, the Dicapo Opera Theatre at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater, The Tilles Center, and Carnegie Hall. She also appeared in commercials and print modeling. |
